Happy Holidays

Hi Everyone:)

I hope everyone is keeping warm this winter. It has been below freezing temps here. We had an inch of snow yesturday. It feels more like Christmas. I have my decorating done, cookies made, Christmas cards sent out and all of my gifts are wrapped. I am ready for Christmas:) My moms dog is about to have puppies any day now. I hope she has them on Christmas. I would name them Holly, Jolly and Chris if she has 3 puppies:) She might have 4. I am trying my best to keep my Horses warm. They have heavy blankets on them and Destiny doesn't like the snow much. I brought her and her turn out buddy in early yesturday. My boys on the other hand were having a ball playing in the snow so I left them out until dinner time. I will be spending the holiday with family and I can't wait to see everyone. I will be seeing relatives I haven't seen in a while. This will be a nice Christmas:)

Hi Everyone:) I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I have been neglecting my blog but I have been really busy working on new items and listing them in my Etsy shop. I now have 133 items for sale in my shop and I am 7 sales away from my 50th sale:) My goal is to get 100 sales by November 23, 2010. That is my 1 year anniversary on Etsy. I Am Now Shipping Internationally

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am now shipping internationally. I have been getting alot of emails from people in other countries asking me if I will ship to their country. I was alittle hesitant at first because I never done it before and I didn't know what to charge and I was afraid of the packages getting lost in the mail. After talking to a few people on Etsy, they gave me some great advice. My first International buyer was http://www.sunnycrystals.etsy.com/ and it went to the United Kingdom and it was a learning experience. She was a big help. It gave me an idea of what it would cost to ship to other countries and I went from there. I was really excited about my first international sale and becoming an international seller. How To Make Your Own Catalog

Handmade sellers can boost sales by creating a catalog of the items they sell and their shop and website can be listed in the catalog. You can lay them out at craft shows, put them in promo bags and hand them out at craft fairs, send them with your customers orders, and hand them out to family and friends. Some people don't own a computer or know how to shop online. If you give out catalogs they can order your handmade items by mail. People who have a copy of your catalog can show it to their family and friends and so on. Catalogs will open up a new opportunity of making sales just like your online shop and craft shows.

I make my own catalog using my home computer. Just go to word perfect and select book format. To make an order form for your catalog just add coloms and rows in grid form. In the coloms put qty. , item , total, etc. Then add a section for your shipping charges, customer name and address, your name and address, and forms of payment you accept. Add pictures of your items and a description about the item and the price. Making it yourself is the cheapest way to go. The only expenses are paper and ink for the printer/copier. You can also take a copy of your catalog to a print shop and have them make copies for you.
